Snow Removal Update
Posted on Feb 17th, 2015

The following email was received in my office from our snow removal contractor.  This was an epic storm and with the extremely cold temperatures it's making it very difficult to address each site in a timely manner.  The salt is also becoming non effective at these temperatures.  We ask for your patience during the storm of the century "dig out" and rest assured your safety is our upmost priority and we hope to have all drives and sidewalks completed as soon as possible.
Terri Hill, Association Manager

Email from Diamond Landscapes:
Dear customers,
Wow, what a snow we have had... we have received around 12 inches at our office off Leestown Road. As most of you know the Governor has called a state of emergency and the city and state have had a tough time managing this snow.  Due to the sheer amount of snow we have had the city and state does not have enough equipment to clear all the roads. This is causing a huge problem for us. I am having a hard time getting trucks to and from properties. Also with the temperatures in the single digits our salt is freezing in our hoppers. We have to plow only and then return later to salt. The drive times are the only aspect of this event that I cannot control or manage. As the city and state start to get more roads plowed we will be able to have more control. Our goal is by the end of business on Tuesday we should have the majority of our properties plowed and salted.
The sidewalks on each of your sites will be completed without issue as many of our sidewalk guys have worked 24 hours straight.  If you have any issue or frustration you can contact us on our dedicated snow line at 859-255-SNOW.  Thank you very much,
Dusty and Chris
