Re: Traditions Landscaping
Posted on Jun 10th, 2018

Diamond Landscapes plans to begin the contracted spring pruning of bushes and shrubs throughout the Tradition neighborhood on Monday, June 25th, weather permitting.  As we have offered in the past, residents may exclude specific bushes by marking them with colored tape.  Beginning Monday, June 18th, this tape will be available on these front porches:  119 Tradition Circle (David O’Neal), 4149 Tradition Way (Carl Boyer), 4203 Tradition Way (Patsy Martin), and 4619 Walnut Creek Drive (Frankie VanderWier).

Please tear off as much tape as you need to mark the plants you do NOT want pruned and leave the rest for others.  If you wish to opt out of this pruning entirely, please email this request to Frankie (fvanderwier@twc.com) by Thursday, June 21st, and you will not need to mark any plants.  Diamond employees will have instructions not to trim any bush or shrub in your yard.

We are unable to honor special requests for those who have inquired about opting out of mulch and other services.  We have a very fair agreement with Diamond Landscapes and in order to keep costs reasonable, Diamond must be as efficient as possible. That means that we are unable to customize community-wide mowing and/or applications of weed killer, fertilizer, and mulch. An exception to this is that residents may privately contract or apply mulch on their own prior to the community-wide event, and no additional mulch should be added by Diamond Landscapes.

As homeowners at The Tradition at Park's Edge, we agreed that responsibility for upkeep of the exterior and green space of our units would be turned over to our HOA. This allows us to maintain consistency and uniformity throughout our community. Keeping within the constraints of our budget requires a standardized approach to landscape maintenance.

Please let a member of the Landscape Committee know if you have any further questions or concerns.
